A HUGE Shout-out to Coach Mershman, his staff, and our Blue Devil Football Team. Coach received the message below from Coach Daniel at Mohawk after Coach Daniel received it from one of their custodians. Our kids showed CLASS, PRIDE, and INTEGRITY even after a rivalry loss!! We are PROUD of our student-athletes and coaches! Set a standard win or lose!!
"Good Morning......
You know I have an unusual comment. Usually after a big rivalry game such as Friday, the girls locker room is in total disarray such as p#%ing on the seats and waste baskets, trash . However, with the Carey team, (I am assuming they are the ones that swept it all up and threw all the trash in the bags. ) It was like no one was even in there.
I think it shows a lot of character and I appreciate it. Thought you might wanna pass it on to their coach."

Mrs. Mershman promised her 8th grade Algebra I and Math students if they completed all of their work for the quarter, they could paint pumpkins. It was the right motivation as all of the students completed their work and had fun this past Friday!

Mohawk vs Carey

Today, our 6th and 9th grade students took part in a career exploration fair at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds sponsored by many Wyandot County businesses and organized by Upper Sandusky teacher and coach, Scott Emerick. Our students had a great time learning about different jobs and getting hands-on experiences. As a school, we are proud of our continued efforts to expose our students, at all grade levels, to the many college and career options available to them after completing their education.

The Pride of Carey doing a great job as always!!
