Dear Community Members:
The Carey High School Academic Boosters is an independent organization in our community that raises funds to support academic growth and academic achievement for grades 6-12 at Carey Exempted Village Schools. We not only recognize honor roll students but those who are making strides to improve their grades. We support: the High School and Middle School Academic Awards Assembly, the purchase of all Academic Letters & Honor Society Stars, Middle School Activity Days, Teacher Appreciation Events, Smart Cookie Awards, Academic Incentive Awards, Honor Roll Incentives, All A’s Pizza Buffet, Ice Cream Social, and Senior Breakfast. Graduating Seniors can apply for 5-$500.00 scholarships annually. Lastly, we donate to other Student Organizations when joint efforts are needed. Our success is funded by the generosity of people like you and profits from Middle School/ Freshmen sports concession stands. Please consider continuing the tradition of acknowledging the importance of our students’ hard work and efforts in the classroom. We invite you to help support academic excellence at Carey High School through your Membership Renewal or initial Academic Booster Membership!
Attached, you will find a membership form. You can print off the form and send it to the High School office with your membership donation; you can use the QR code on the form, or you can use the Venmo account link to register as a member. As always, we appreciate your support as every dollar goes to support our students at Carey High School.

District Champs!!! Congrats Lady Devils! On to Bluffton!

Well, it keeps happening. Old Man Winter keeps blowing his wintry kisses to us. It's a bit icy out there. Carey Schools are on a TWO HOUR DELAY this morning, Friday, February 21.

We tried folks, but Blizzard Bob Beaver's snowblower exploded and his shovel broke!! We cannot get the buses out or the lots cleared. We have to reevaluate Blizzard Bob's backup contract for snow removal. Carey Schools ARE CLOSED today and students will be on remote learning.

Our backup snow removal company, Blizzard Bob Beaver, only brought one snow blower to help clean the lot today. Not good! Due to this and the icy road conditions, Carey Schools are on a TWO HOUR DELAY today!

Carey High School was honored today to see our very own, Mrs. Donna Hohman, named as one of the 10 finalists for the Ohio FFA's "Golden Owl" Award which recognizes the very best Agricultural Education Teacher in the State of Ohio. We are so proud of Mrs. Hohman!!

You can't find good help! We got some yeti in to help clear the roadways but they just like ice and snow. Too bad! Carey Schools are CLOSED today. Students will be remote.

Well...we may not do that again! We allowed the "Frost Riders" MC to use our parking lot for a bike rally today and they left it an icy mess. We told them, "Easy on the Sno-Cones!" Looks like we are delaying tomorrow. Carey Schools are on a 2 HOUR DELAY!

Congratulations to our Blue Devil Boys' Wrestling Team who won the N10 Wrestling Championship this year dethroning Mohawk. Go gettem boys!!

Congratulations to our Blue Devil Girls' Basketball Team who won the Sectional Championship today at home! Onward to Districts in Bowling Green!!

Unfortunately, we could not break the spell of Punxsutawney Phil's groundhog magic. Some of our back and side roads are still icy out there. Carey School will be CLOSED today, Feb. 13. Students will be remote with assignments posted by 10:30am

Well, you knew it was going to happen. We made fun of Punxsutawney Phil and his prediction of more winter and now that little evil groundhog wizard is making us pay for it. Carey Schools are delayed 2 hours tomorrow.

Due to impending weather conditions, ALL practices, games, activities, rehearsals, meetings, and after school tutoring at Carey Schools are canceled for this evening. Be safe on the roads.

Save The Date - April 6th for a Mom's Brunch!!!

Carey Residents: There is a small chihuahua with brown/white coloring running around on the school grounds. We have had several students spot the dog and report it to us. If you know of anyone who may have lost a brown/white chihuahua, please direct them to the school.

Empower yourself! Join us this Sunday from 2-3 PM at the Carey Complex for a self-defense class as we work to educate the community on personal safety. Don't miss out!
