Breaking News: Steven Tybear and Joe Berry, members of “Bear-o-smith,” an all brown bear tribute to classic rock band “Aerosmith” who are currently on tour with Dr. Happy LeClere and Blaze the Balloon Blowing Goat, were “Living on the Edge” last evening and got a little “Crazy” with the backstage crew’s industrial slushie machine. Folks, it’s an “Amazing” icy “Pink” lemonade mess out there and “Mama Kin” is mad. Probably caused havoc with your parents’ drive to or from work today. Needless to say, you can “Dream On” if you think Carey Schools are going to be “Back in the Saddle” again. We don’t know “What It Takes” to clean up this mess, but we do know that we “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” so we are going to start today on a Two Hour Delay because you can’t “Walk This Way” or drive for that matter.

We were all set to surprise our students with ice cream tomorrow with the world famous, Pedro the Penguin's Pistachio Ice Cream. However, Pedro managed to blow a condenser, leaving the district in a deep freeze.
As a result, school is canceled tomorrow.

Yeardley the Yak got the plow started and the buses running, but then started to yakkity yak with the geese AND talking back. Due to this, Carey Schools will be CLOSED today Jan. 6. We will get back from break tomorrow.
